On the 19th, the hair care specialist brand Dr. Seed announced that its hair care products had surpassed cumulative sales of 2.5 million units.

Dr. Seed's "Solution Booster" is an innovative shampoo additive that addresses deficiencies such as dandruff, hair loss, and oily scalp. Users can simply add a drop or two of the booster to their regular shampoo for enhanced functionality.

Dr. Seed has utilized actor Yoo Yeon-seok as a model for various promotions, including TV commercials and online advertisements, effectively promoting the product to many consumers. According to company officials, Yoo Yeon-seok's smart image portrayed in the tvN drama "Hospital Playlist" resonated well with the Solution Booster, which was developed based on various research studies.

Dr. Seed's Solution Booster, which had primarily focused on online sales, is now expanding its sales channels to reach more consumers, including recent placement in H&B Lalavla. The brand continues to invest efforts in product development, consistently upgrading its offerings through its in-house R&D center since its launch. This dedication has been recognized by consumers, as evidenced by the brand's consecutive first-place rankings in the natural shampoo category of the Korean Customer Satisfaction Index for two years running.

A representative from Dr. Seed expressed deep gratitude for reaching the milestone of 2.5 million units sold with the endorsement of Yoo Yeon-seok's shampoo. They stated, "We consider it a meaningful achievement that Dr. Seed has reached 2.5 million units sold, thanks to reaching out to more consumers with Yoo Yeon-seok's shampoo. We will continue our efforts to grow as a brand committed to researching for a healthy life that satisfies consumers."
